1. Using our Website

You’re welcome to use our website for personal use.

Please don’t:

  • interfere with the site’s security or performance;
  • attempt to access parts of the site you’re not authorised to use; or
  • copy/reuse our text, images or branding without permission.

We may suspend access if we reasonably believe the website is being misused.

2. Information on the website

We do our best to keep the website accurate and up to date, but details can change (including room features, layouts, local information, availability and pricing). The website is provided for general information.

If something is important to your booking (for example accessibility requirements or room suitability), please contact us and we’ll confirm.

3. Booking online (Guesty)

When you click Book Now, you’ll be taken to our direct booking page hosted by Qbook, Queesnborough Group:
https://lakesideoxfordhotel.guestybookings.com/en

Bookings made through that booking journey are processed via Qbook, Queesnborough Group. The booking flow will show the key terms for your stay (including price, payment terms and the cancellation policy for the rate you select). Those booking-specific terms form part of your contract with us.

4. When a booking is confirmed

A booking is confirmed when:

  • you complete the booking process; and
  • you receive a booking confirmation on screen and/or by email.

Please check your confirmation carefully and contact us promptly if anything looks incorrect.

5. Price, payments and errors

Prices are shown at the time of booking and confirmed in your booking confirmation. Any deposit, prepayment, or payment schedule will be shown during the booking process.

If a price or availability is shown incorrectly due to a technical or administrative error, we reserve the right to correct it. If this affects your booking, we will contact you as soon as possible and you will have the option to:

  • proceed at the correct price/terms; or
  • cancel and receive a full refund of any amount paid for the affected booking.

6. Cancellations, changes and no-shows

Cancellation and amendment terms vary depending on the rate and dates you choose. The exact policy for your booking is displayed before you confirm and is repeated in your confirmation.

If you need to change something, contact us as soon as you can and we’ll do our best to help — but changes are subject to availability, and the rate rules you booked.

If you do not arrive and you haven’t cancelled in line with your booking terms, a no-show charge may apply (as set out in your confirmation).

7. During your stay (key conditions)

We want Lakeside to feel calm, comfortable and respectful for everyone.

By staying with us, you agree that:

  • you will not exceed the permitted occupancy for the room booked;
  • you will treat the property and furnishings with reasonable care; and
  • the booking confirmation or on signage at the property).

Smoking and pets

We are a non-smoking property inside the building. We are pet-free.

Damage and extra cleaning

We may charge for damage, missing items, or additional cleaning required beyond normal use.

8. Accessibility

Lakeside Oxford Hotel is a heritage building. Unfortunately, we don’t have step-free access throughout, there is no lift, and some rooms are upstairs.

If you have mobility requirements, please contact us before booking — we’ll help you choose the most suitable room.

9. Our responsibility

Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation).

Subject to that, we are not responsible for:

  • loss or damage to personal belongings unless caused by our negligence; or
  • indirect or consequential losses (such as missed travel connections or loss of enjoyment).

If something isn’t right during your stay, please tell us as soon as possible so we can try to put it right.

10. Events outside our control

We are not liable for delays or failure to perform our obligations where this is caused by events outside our reasonable control (for example severe weather, power outages, emergency restrictions, transport disruption or supplier failures). Where possible, we’ll work with you to find a fair solution.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
